The warmlyyours design tool for radiant heating quotes.
Drawing floor heating.
There are two types of radiant floor heating electric and water based systems.
Both provide heating in a room from the floor up for consistent efficient warmth.
Heater to provide both floor heating and domestic hot water.
Normally the wood boiler is plumbed to a heat exchanger see drawing above.
No hot or cold spot and no wind noise or draft occurs when cooling with radiant floor heating.
As you can see this allows the boiler to heat a tank of potable water which in turn can provide domestic hot water and floor heating in an open or closed configuration.
Another advantage is the even distribution of cooling heating in the home.
This is a very efficient system because one heat source is doing all the work.
But i can t keep myself from wondering how this is drawn.
You can use the tool to create and layout a room with the exact measurements and the fixtures of your choice in order to ensure that your quote is as accurate as possible.
Rooms can be resized by dragging the walls or corners and they are easily docked together to create complex floor plans.
My guess is that there is some kind of reactor involved.
The same water that ends up in your hot shower or dishwasher for example has passed through the floor first.
A typical fan coil ac unit can run as high 8 10 amps just to run the fan motor.
The two systems are basically tied together.
I do not have to draw this myself it is done by others.
Warm water systems run hot water through pipes to create heat whereas electric underfloor heating heats wiring beneath the floor to generate heat.
A typical circulation pump consumes only 5 amps when cooling or heating a house.
Our online design tool is the first of its kind in the radiant heating industry.
